She is 13 1/2 years old.

Meet Lisa Coleman, Master of Many Hats

Lisa is a mother to 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Lisa was laid off from her position as a graphic artist after 11 1/2 years due to Covid-19.  She is a graphic artist, photographer, writer, poet and blogger who loves to dabble in American History.

She has published 2 non-fiction historical pictorials and has just started writing again after years of hiatus. Lisa spent 12 years in the United States Marine Corps (ooh-rah) and is proud to have served her country. Her passion for birds and traveling has led her on this blogging adventure.

Lisa is a sports fan who loves her Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tampa Bay Rays. She loves to watch professional golf, yes GOLF (men’s golf, specifically), which was a wonderful surprise for Frank when they met as many women don’t have the patience to watch a bunch of grown men hit a tiny white ball with a long skinny stick.

Frank is semi-retired and currently working on a conservation project to help stop erosion in the nation’s wetlands, specifically southern Louisiana. He has turned his love of photography into a new business and contributes to the writing and editing of this blog on occasion. He is currently writing his first novel, a sci-fi adventure with a twist.

He is a sports enthusiast who can throw out American football and baseball history and trivia on a whim. He loves to watch men’s golf and can spout off historical facts there as well. His favorite golfer of all time is Arnold Palmer.

They are both passionate about the environment, sustainability, helping others & living the best life they can each day.  Neither are fans of large crowds but will attend The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Florida when they can. During the lockdown, they have found increased passion for the blog and have been able to continue their adventures by visiting several Wildlife Refuges in Florida and Georgia during the pandemic, keeping social distancing in tact. Get to know them a little more with each new blog!
