Bird Weekly Round-Up – Week #37

Week #37 challenge was Birds with white feathers.

Disclaimer: If anyone has an issue with me using their photos in the round ups, please kindly let me know. I haven’t had anyone say anything, but I don’t want you to think I’m using your photographs for personal gain. I’m here to show what great work you are doing with your photography by showing you off in these posts.

Week #37 of Bird Weekly was all about the white feathered birds. The controversy of whether it is a color or not is an interesting subject. Technically, black and white are not colors at all but are shades. Tell that to people like me who deal with shades on the Pantone color wheel on a daily basis. CMYK – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and BLACK. Black is a color! Black Colors Matter. Unless you have a specialty printer that has a WHITE ink cartridge, then White Colors Matter! Otherwise, the white object you are printing on becomes your white.

With my rant over, let’s take a look at everyone’s white feathered birds from last week.

I encourage you to visit these blogs if you haven’t already and see what amazing things they have going on. If I missed your post or there was a problem with a pingback, please let me know and I will be glad to add you to the list. Remember to pingback from my post of that week and not my page. Liking my page is encouraged!

Next up: Week #38: Birds beginning with the letter β€œE” (if a bird has more than one word of the name, you can use it as long as it begins with a β€œE”, ie: Egyptian Goose or Bald Eagle)

VISIT MY BIRD WEEKLY PAGE FOR A FULL LIST OF UPCOMING CHALLENGES AND RULES!

I look forward to seeing your creations this week!

I know. I love that. Last two times we were in Texas, I got to meet up with a couple of bloggers. That has been such a treasure.

I can’t wait to meet up with some of the bloggers I’ve met on WP. But if is wasn’t for covid, many of you and them, I may never have met. I really started getting to know people once I lost my job. πŸ™‚

A wonderful gallery of stunning birds, Lisa! I really love the eagles standing on the shore of the lake. Not sure if I’ll have an entry this week, but I’ll be around the following week. I can only stalk your themes for so long, LOL!

Hoping you get the chance once covid is over. I’m still looking forward to planning on you coming out this way. I think we are at least a year from a true safety net. πŸ™‚

I hope not that long, but the birding is better in early Winter so… πŸ˜€

The birding is actually better right now because we are getting all the warblers and small birds coming through. At least on the east coast of Florida. The early winter birding is great too but not like it is right now. πŸ™‚
