So, one of my pet peeves is the toilet paper roll and how it sits in the holder. Are you a “down and under” or an “up and over” kind of person? Does it matter to you? It is an OCD moment for me. Before covid, if I was anywhere and the toilet paper was down and under, I’d change it to up and over. One of my first blogs I ever wrote was about this subject. Here is the link to that oddball post before I had a clue what I was doing. Okay, so I still don’t have a clue… but toilet paper is a hot topic and has been since covid. People scrambling to wipe the shelves so they could wipe themselves. (politically correct phrasing)
I missed yesterday so this is for yesterday’s square.
So happy to be back for squares in 2021!

Your way is correct. I don’t know if I am OCD about it. But there is a right way.

I prefer to have it over the roll. But as a problem solver ( also part of my own OCD) I will accept vertical in compromise. Now. Should be left or right? π€

LOL! I was telling Barbara that I buy the extra large rolls and they won’t fit in my holder. They sit on the tub for a couple go arounds. hehehe! π

Given our multiple-dimensioned universe we oftentimes get down to basics and look at issues in two ways. In fact much of what we perceive about the universe–oh all right, the world we live on–is based on two extremes. For example, light-dark, hot-cold, happy-angry. . . the list goes on and on. Still, for those folks who prefer a more scientific approach, you’ll find the article at the following web link quite interesting. Of course, given 2020’s past experience in the toilet paper aisle, most of us right now are just happy to have the useful roll tissue in our bathrooms.

Love that positive attitude. Since covid, I don’t want to touch anymore than I have to if I’m in a public restroom (only on day trips). I just leave it be and am thankful there is toilet paper there. LOL! π

hehehe! My friend is down and under too because she has cats. Otherwise, she wouldn’t care. π

hee hee, my mum and my sister-in-law are exactly the same as you. They get so stressed if it is wrong. I prefer it up and over, but if ie happens to be down and under i just go with the flow π

Up and over is the ‘right’ way to my way of thinking. But mostly I just have a roll sitting on the edge of the tub. haha! π

LMAO! That is so great! That happens here occasionally too. I buy the extra large rolls and they won’t fit in my old fashioned holder until I’ve gone a few rounds so it sits on the tub until it is broken in. π
