We have Common Doves, Mourning Doves and Eurasian Collared Doves. You have all those too plus the Inca. It doesn’t go too much further north than Las Vegas. They are not common. https://www.audubon.org/field-guide/bird/inca-dove
OK, this should explain the ‘other’ doves I’ve seen before! The Rock Pigeons fly over my house all day, other kinds do too I suppose but they flit from rooftop to rooftop.

Inca? Not heard of this one. I remember as a kid listening to the Mourning Doves making that soft call in the pine forests nearby. Good memories!
