Fantasy
Bagpipes bellow in the distance
Captures of lavender in the air
Skipping through the countryside
Climb the tattered tower.
The tattered tower of weathered years
Strength and longevity
Stairs to nature's hideaway
Reality is your fantasy.
Fantasies prosper from dreams
Ring goes the clock on the hour
Tea time in the green meadow
Fortunes sought by the master.
The master of the destiny
Seeks silver nor gold
Longs for peace to the world
Dreams true for all.

Sue VincentΒ is the host of Thursday Photo Prompt. "Fantasy"
Me too. Iβve never been out of the US except to a quick jaunt to Tijuana. Ireland and Scotland have been calling me for 30 years. They call me on my cell. LOL! π
I know! I don’t even have a passport. Never had one. Prior to 9/11 I didn’t need one as long as I had my active duty ID. At some point, I will have to do that. π
Your poetry is vivid and really makes you think and take a moment’s pause and contemplate them. Look forward to more. I really enjoyed the one about dark skies but I regret I can’t remember the title without checking back posts . It was a couple of weeks ago. Hope your story is doing GREAT!
Thank you Willow. OMG! Thunderstruck is my favorite AC/DC song! That was outstanding! ROCK ON, DUDE! You need to put that in SLS somewhere. Everyone needs to see that! π LOL

Peace to the world and dreams that come true. That sounds like a great idea. I wish that it wasn’t just a fantasy

Thank you very much Frank! It is true especially given what 2020 has thrown at the human race this year. π
