Since I’m no Paleontologist, I can’t tell you much about this except is it OLD! I found this fossilized tulip shell on Little Talbot Island last Sunday and it called me over to take some photos. There was so much character in this shell that I had to stop and take notice. I shot its front side and then turned it over and shot the back side. Looks like a heart, not just in shape, but possibly with the valves pumping life. This shell hasn’t seen much action in years, maybe centuries!

Imagine the lifeform that once lived in this palace!
I found the inside just as intriguing. When I got really close, I could make out the details and wondered where this shell had been!
